Who has worked here
IPS Balers was originally started in 1995 with the idea that no custom baling application was unattainable. The idea was to take all the ideas that had been group together for more than 65 years in the recycling industry. After leaving the Harris Group, which had originally purchased a company called Selco products and was originally ran by Sidney Wildes, Fred Johnson, & Forrest Wildes. The three guys wanted to open up a company that had no limits in new and revolutionary ideas, when it came to new technology in the recycling industry. With this idea, IPS Balers was born in a small town of south GA. After many years of developing new patents and ways to produce cutting-edge balers and conveyors, IPS was acquired by CP Manufacturing and joined the CP Group. Bob Davis, CP Group CEO, saw the quality and ingenuity from which he had built and modeled his company from for many years. This is what made IPS such a great fit, so in 2007 CP Manufacturing purchased IPS Balers, making it one of its group of companies. With this purchase, the CP Group offers a complete stream-lined system from the tip floor to the bale storage area and all the equipment in between.
